Pre-production: Planning Document ( Pt 6)
It is used to plan out key moments in a television show or film. Beats are pivotal/emotional points in a song. For my group's beat sheet, I produced four portions of my own beat sheet. One of the segments was the introductory scene. In this beat, I sketched up what the opening scene of my future film production with my group will include. In the second beat, I outlined the plot of my film. In the third beat, I talked about the main character in my opening scene and what pushes her to do what she does. Finally, the fourth beat was all about the hook that would keep my listeners entertained.
Pre-production: Planning Document ( Pt 5)
In this project, we were instructed to complete several components of an assignment in order to plan out various aspects of our film. In this blog article, I'll discuss the save the cat beat sheet narrative framework. This task taught me so much that it's ridiculous. I had no notion what a save the cat beat sheet was. I had no idea it would have such huge influence on the making of films and television shows. Blake Snyder developed the save the cat beat sheet.

Pre-production: Planning Document ( Pt 4)
Finally, we accomplished what we needed to. Things like the narrative and opening scene were fully defined before we even started working on that section! This method has taught me what it's like to be part of a team that can have adult discussions regarding classwork. Media-studies classwork takes up a lot of mental space, and I'm grateful that my coworkers and I can collaborate to create something like this. Assignments like this one teach me so much about life, not just filmmaking.
Pre-production: Planning Document ( Pt 3)
This part of the project was the first step in preparing our opening scene. Before we did anything else, we were ordered to create generic information about our film. To do this, my crew had to work very closely together. We bounced ideas off each other until we were able to identify some of the essential facts needed for our film. Things like the film's genre, release date, and title.
Pre-production: Planning Document ( Pt 2)
In this project, we were instructed to choose how we would introduce our characters' exposition in our first scene. My group and I decided on narrative and miss en scene for this task. We picked them because we believed the camera should focus on the character physically and portray different parts of them. At the same time, we want the viewer to learn more about the character through words rather than images.
Pre-production: Planning Document ( Pt 1)
My media studies class is now preparing for the opening scene test component. In this blog post, I'll discuss the moment in preparation where we had to write an exposition. An exposition is the backstory required for my tale to make sense to the audience. There are several methods for producing a one in a film/TV program. Narration, flashbacks, a missing scene, voice-over, text and title cards, and sound are all present. All of these are techniques for completely immersing the audience in the lives of a character.

Preliminary Exercise: Introduction to Sound Post (Pt3)
Some supports film in the context of its genres because it helps to add support, it helps enhance it for example when you're watching a horror movie and the protagonist is running from the antagonist you hear on the ominous music in the background this is an example of how music help supports the sound of a film. Four dialogue lines that should be expected to be heard in my films are, Violet telling big that something suspicious is going on. The second one is the group discussing what happened to Violet and then Aurora bringing up the missing poster. The third one is Paul telling Jess not to be rude or disrespectful because this is a serious matter. The final one is just saying that no one cared about Violet that she is an important as she wasn't really a part of the group. Six sound effects that you could expect to hear my movie is the school bell ringing, the classroom door opening, Paul's phone ringing, the crunching of the leaves when Violet is running, the footsteps of the Stocker chasing Violet, and the books when children are packing up to leave the classroom. Four musical pieces that the audience can expect to hear my film or the crunching, running out of time, ominous Pt 2 , and lastly thrilling.

Preliminary Exercise: Introduction to Sound Post (Pt2)
We also studied about the two primary forms of sound in movies, diegetic and non-diegetic noises. The sound designer is the person in charge of the sound of a film. Walter Mulch is a well-known film editor. He is most known for the childhood show that everyone remembers, The Wizard of OZ, for which he has earned innumerable awards, adding to the ones that he has previously received.
Preliminary Exercise: Introduction to Sound Post (Pt 1)
Sound in film refers to anything that can be heard in the film. The three primary things you hear when watching a movie are conversation, music, and sound effects. Dialogue refers to the talk that takes place in a film or book. This helps to support cinema since it provides context and foundation for the picture, so it's not simply images and do you comprehend what's going on. Background music in films is like that added touch to the movie in that one scary scene when you hear that foreboding music as the person is being hunted by the evil guy. Finally, there are sound effects. Sound effects provide more emotion to the picture than language and music, for example, one door creaking open, glass shattering, and so on. This enhances the picture because it gives it more body, which makes it more exciting and makes you want to see more, such as where did the sounds of the glass breaking originate from and what caused it.
