Introduction to storyboarding: Shot sizes, Camera angles, Camera framing and Composition Storyboards (Pt 3)

In this preliminary excersise I worked in groups of 4. We decided on a plot then each of us wrote the camera composition, the description of the image and drew the actual image. Camera composition really helps add tone to the shot along with dimension. Storyboarding is a very important and fun way to plan out a production. It also helps but the film into perspective.

In this week's photo assignment we are looking at the rule of thirds, the symmetry balnce shot, and the asymmetry balance shot where both sides of the frame are balanced against each other. The Asymmetry Balance Shot is the one where all elements in the photo are evenly distributed. It is also the shot where the subject of the image is placed at the intersection of two lines, or along the line its self.
